Set up in 2001 by Avis Lyons, the centre tarted out with International Animal Rescue, it has now become it's own charity owing to the success of the clinic.

The ongoing, unlawful killing of dogs by local authorities is causing horrific suffering.

This is not a proven way to control the dog population, making the culls unnecessary as well as cruel.

As the centre becomes more widely known, we are called out to injured dogs
from a much wider area. We are also steralising more dogs each month
as well as the ongoing problems of mange and maggot wounds.
